Abu Dhabi-based airline Etihad has confirmed it has immediately suspended all flights to Qatari capital Doha.
The last flight from Abu Dhabi to Doha will depart from 2.45am GST on Tuesday June 6, with the final flight returning from Doha to the UAE capital taking off at 4am local time on the same day.
“All customers who are booked on Etihad Airways flights to and from Doha are being provided with alternative options, including full refunds on unused tickets and free rebooking to the nearest alternate Etihad Airways destinations,” said an Etihad spokesperson.
“Etihad Airways regrets any inconvenience caused as a result of the suspension.”
All flights on Monday June 5 will operate as normal. For more information visit Arabian Business.

Update – June 5 2017, 11.35am: A spokesperson for Emirates Airline has confirmed to Time Out Dubai it will be suspending all flights between Dubai and Doha as of Tuesday June 6 until further notice. The final flight departing to Doha will take off at 2.30am, with the final flight returning to the UAE from Doha departing at 3.50am local time.
All customers who are booked on Emirates flights to and from Doha will be provided with alternative options, including full refunds on unused tickets and free rebooking to the nearest Emirates destinations.
Flydubai has also suspended all flights to and from Doha as of Tuesday June 6.
