Atlantis The Palm announces epic World Cup Fan Zone

And you can win the trip of a lifetime if you head along

World Cup, World Cup

An epic fan zone is coming to Dubai, as one of the city’s most iconic landmarks is getting ready to celebrate the 2018 FIFA World Cup in style.

It’s coming to Atlantis The Palm, and it sounds truly magnificent.

Straight off the bat we’re talking about a whopping great 28 sq m screen (that’s more than 5m x 5m, by the way) dominating proceedings in a 2,000 capacity fan zone tent called, obviously, the Atlantis World Cup Fan Zone.

Inside, you’ll find the zone has been split into two distinct areas. In “The Stadium”, you’ll have the main viewing arena for footie fans who want to get right into every match. You’ll find a bar, the huge screen and seating for each game.

Meanwhile, over in “The Bench”, you’ll be able to kick back a bit more with a slightly more relaxed vibe. Think low-slung seating, a gamer’s corner complete with a dedicated PlayStation stand, various competitions and more. There’s also going to be some cool daily challenges testing footie skills – so get ready for games of keep-ups as well as several others.

Throughout the tournament, on the match day for key games there’ll be live entertainment, music, merchandise giveaways and one particularly massive competition that’s got us all excited.

One lucky fan will be able to win the trip of a lifetime to the country that wins this year’s World Cup, and there’s also a staycation at Atlantis The Palm.

So why wouldn’t you want to head along? If you want to book a table in the fan zone, commit to a Dhs1,000 minimum spend and you’ll be grand, otherwise it’s free entry for ladies and Dhs100 for gents on the door, but that comes with two drinks included. Booking ahead is recommended for big matches.

With only a month to go until the big kick-off on Thursday June 14, the excitement is palpable.
Free (ladies), Dhs100 (gents, including two drinks). Open daily throughout tournament during matches. Atlantis, The Palm, Palm Jumeirah, (04 426 2626).
