With the World Cup right around the corner, Dubai is setting up numerous domes and fan zones for one of the biggest occasions of the year, and it’s about to get one more.
Wavebreaker Beach Bar & Grill is launching a brand-new Beach Stadium on Thursday June 14. Just in time for the World Cup kick-off.
The new space will be a huge tent with air-conditioning, along with plenty of big and small screens throughout the venue to watch each match.
It comes with a new Beach Stadium package for Dhs150, which offers access to its beach setting on JBR, your choice of the restaurant’s signature burgers or sandwiches and a bottle of hops on the house. The package will only be available from June 14 to July 15.
The beach bar will also be serving its regular dishes throughout the tent, including its falafel pita sandwich, The Jawbreaker (a 2kg burger) and Canadian lobster fresh from the tank.
The tent will remain open throughout the summer, so everyone can take shelter from the scorching heat.
Waverbreaker Beach Bar & Grill isn’t the only place getting especially ready for the footie season. Barasti Beach is setting up a SuperDome to hold 8,000 people.
There will also be another stadium at Atlantis The Palm with a 28 sq m screen. Take a look at the other places setting up shop.
