There’s a fair chance that you’ve only ever heard of Capital Club by reputation – only a select number of members are able to gain entry, and you’d need to know someone to get in.
But now, if you’re after a slightly more refined, elegant and classy football experience for the World Cup, you may be able to head along to one of the most exclusive hangouts in Dubai.
Capital Club in DIFC has confirmed it will be opening up its doors to DIFC Card holders (basically, everyone who works in the financial district) for the duration of the World Cup which, in case you missed it, starts this Thursday (June 14) and runs until Sunday July 15.
If you know someone with a DIFC Card then you can also head along as their guest for the tournament. Just make sure you book in advance.
Not only has the club, ranked by CNN as one of the ten most exclusive members’ clubs in the world, relaxed its door policy for the tournament, it’s also putting on some pretty mega deals. We’re talking bucket drinks deals for Dhs99, and even a bucket of 20 chicken wings for Dhs99 as well.
There are also a number of other promotions, including two-for-one on a bunch of drinks deals and menu items, including classic dishes like fish and chips and the club’s signature burger.
Every match will be streamed live, so if you’ve been after a particularly aristocratic alternative viewing experience, this is where you need to be heading for kick off. A quick word of caution, though, access is by prior reservation only, so make sure you call ahead, and adhere to the club’s formal dress code (read more about that here).
We’ve rounded up the city’s best fan zones and bars, so if you’re looking for somewhere to catch the match, you’ll find it here.
Open Sun-Fri 7am-2am, Sat noon-9pm. Building 3, Gate Village, DIFC (04 363 0111).
