Just when you thought Dubai had thought of it all, one of the city’s top swimming pool clubs has gone and knocked it out of the park with a brilliant offer.
Drai’s Dubai, the super-funky day-to-night pool party club in Meydan, has announced it is screening the World Cup action all the way through the tournament, and you and your mates can catch every kick in your own private cabana, complete with private Jacuzzi.
All for the cost of one bottle (of either grape or premium beverage), you can kick back from 3pm until midnight on match days in private and luxurious surroundings. Each cabana comes equipped with its own HD TV – and of course the aforementioned Jacuzzi.
There are loads of other games and competitions going on throughout the tournament too, with prizes ranging from Drai’s merchandise to free use of a Jacuzzi.
And every Tuesday throughout the tournament, the club’s ladies’ day offer will be even bigger and bolder.
For Dhs100, the first 100 ladies through the door will get a free bed and unlimited pink, white and frozen grape from 3pm until 8pm, plus a selection of nibbles to share.
While the club will remain open-air throughout the tournament, it will be thoroughly air-conditioned, so you needn’t worry about the climbing temperature.
We can’t think of many swankier ways of catching all the action from Russia than this, but if you are on the lookout for other places to watch, then we’ve rounded up every massive fan zone here and all the bars here.
Open daily 3pm-midnight (throughout tournament, depending on match schedule). Meydan Racecourse, Nad Al Sheba (052 388 8857).
